Painted Sky Studio is a 2400 sq. ft lake house including a 500 sq. foot second floor studio with panoramic views - perfect for family vacations, yoga/meditation retreats or artist/writer sabbaticals, residencies, or workshops. Treat yourself to a tranquil getaway close to home - winter or summer. Cozy up by the wood stove or take a dip in the warm waters of our infinity pool. Let the home be your rest; the lake be your medicine; and the sky be your inspiration. Painted Sky Studio is a restful home away from home.
Water’s Edge, a nearby cedar cabin, provides space for an additional 6 guests. Prairie meets lakeshore here, on over 1 acre of private land, with incomparable lake views, a stand of trees, and your own stretch of private beach in full view from your wrap around deck. Get a front row seat as the full moon rises in the East or sets over the lake in all its glimmering magnificence. Water's Edge provides a magical connection between you and the natural world and can be booked in conjunction with Painted Sky or separately.

Our vacation home is situated on a lakefront peninsula beside a stretch of sandy beach. It offers breathtaking views, a grassy labyrinth for walking meditation, and easy access to summer activities like swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. In winter, enjoy snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and some of the best ice ice fishing on Lake Manitoba. Take a trip on a bombardier or pre-organize for a dog sledding expedition.
